Drying and curing modules smooth, uniform coat, typically in “Natgraph Grey” colours.
At Natgraph, Aaron, one of our talented paint sprayers, takes pride in applying paint to the drying and curing module enclosures currently in production. His skill and experience are essential for achieving a fine, even coating on the large sheet steel surfaces and intricately folded designs, which will eventually enclose our high-performance, energy-efficient electro-mechanical drying and curing modules.
Our paint sprayers use a pressurised spray system to ensure a smooth, uniform coat, typically in “Natgraph Grey” colours – RAL7037 and RAL7035 – to match the colour of most production line equipment. However, we frequently apply custom colours to meet specific customer requirements.
We operate four open spray booths where our painters, equipped with air-fed masks, apply paint to all steel enclosures. Once painted, the enclosures are transferred to our large industrial oven, where high temperatures cause the paint molecules to cross-link and harden.
This curing process is crucial to ensure that the paint adheres firmly and creates a robust, visually appealing and long-lasting finish. The durability of this finish is essential for our modules, which are used globally in a wide range of printing, drying and curing applications.
